Hi Guys, I'm in the process of selling my 306 so I can get a 406. I'm looking at a budget of around a £1000, what sort of 406 could i expect for that sort or money? Where would be the best place to look? I could also do with a list of the different specs so I know what I'm getting with the car, is there somewhere on here that would tell me?

Depends on what you're after. If you want to go older & petrol you can get a hell of a lot.
Here's a couple of prime examples from Ebay of a dirt cheap (but nice) 406 at well under your budget:

Thanks for the reply and for the links. I'm after a Hdi 110 if they're in my price range, the executive if I really got my way but anyone really. Just need something bigger than the 306. The 306 has a the 1.9 turbo diesel and has been ultra reliable, what are the Hdi's like? Is there much difference between the 90 and 110 models?
