Hi from 1st timer

Post by Clive9 »

Just a quick intro, hope to meet some new friends on this forum, I`ve got 2 406 estates, 1 Saab 93 convertible, and a
Honda XL1000 Varadero. only 1 406 is mot`d at the moment, I bought them both off a mate with a taxi company.so got them cheap. I`ve had 3 406,,s to date and just love them, Hopefully between us we can swap info and experiences.
Cheers for now.

Hi Clive & welocme to the site. 8)

What flavour 406's have you got?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Hi dogslife, thanks for the welcome, much appreciated, I would have had to call the Samaritans if nobody replied
" only joking " the 406 I,m running at the moment is a 2002 406 L 90 hdi estate with 167k on the clock. the other is
2003 GXL 110 hdi estate with 200k on the clock, all it needs is a drivers side regulator and a new indicator mechanism coz it keeps indicating on its own, I,m told these are are common problems. Also I think it needs a replacement turbo as well. This all sounds a lot but I only gave £200.00 for it. you probably think I,m mad don,t you. ebay seems to be a good place for the bits unless anybody knows any good places near Stockport south Manchester.
Cheers for now.
