Cheers guys, Its a 3.0 V6. It's still in good health had it rolling roaded afew months ago and it made nigh on 200bhp and 200ft/lb torques :) Makes an awesome noise too :cheesy: To do list is the interior blower doesnt work, The idle moves about abit and a possible wheel bearing..Oh and its due tyres-rather expensive size it seems too lol.

See the sticky post I made some time ago regarding this engine. There's a very serious flaw in the air filter box which can cause the throttle to jam wide open
the interior blower doesnt work
Blower's knackered/burnt. Passenger footwell, 3 screws iirc. Easy job if not for the contorting required :)
Oh and its due tyres-rather expensive size it seems too lol.
Expensive speed rating :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Check heater modulator before replacing blower ( engine running, blower on full and wiggle wires behind console ) new one is £25 ish.
Recently bought 5 wheels and good tyres from a V6 coupe for £51 on eBay, standard ones won't fit as you have brembos, or start looking for part-worns now as 215/55/16s are hard to find.
Good luck.. 8)

Thanks guys, The headlights were black masked by the previous owner..one leaks though and steams up which bugs me abit. Wheel bearing is starting to sound bad now soI'll have to sort that asap! Oh and cheers for the headsup about the airbox ring. I should be OK as I fitted a ramair filter for the noise lol
