Greetings from New Zealand
Hello everybody,
Thought I would introduce myself before getting involved with the forums.
A little about me and where I come from;
My name is Patrick, 20 years old, I was born in Hungary and moved to New Zealand 17 years ago. I am currently part of a car club/forum called 'Fast Frogs' on http://www.fastfrogs.co.nz and it is a friendly car club with a wide range of French cars.
My first car at the age of 15 was a 1999 Peugeot 406 RFR facelift manual. I have owned this car for 5 years and it has been my baby! Sadly, I sold it 3 weeks ago as I bought another 406. This car had a little bit of modifications including a de-cat, 206 GTi180 exhaust manifold, 17" Peugeot alloys, airbox resonator depletion, etc.
While owning that car I had a few other cars and that came and went including a fuc*ed 406 V6 auto which I sold in 2 days of buying it, a 205 GTi 1.9 and a Nissan Nx Coupe (Another failed project). After having my original 406 for 2 years, I found the owner of the NZ number plate of 'PUG406' who was willing to sell it at a very cheap price. The PUG406 plate is now on my new 406 which I bought a month before selling my other 406 and it is a 2000 Peugeot 406 SV V6 (Sedan - XFXF) manual. Luckily, I bought the car for less than I sold the 2L one and it had less ks, more features, etc etc.
The modifications so far are:
De-cat (Post cats only)
17" X 8" 15p offest custom made Koya CR-Tek wheels with Eagle F1 tyres (As always)
Brand new Bilstein B4 shocks
Professionally lowered by Peugeot from dealer
I have ordered (And still waiting on shipping):
V6 Coupe Brembo calipers
Znoelli S6 slotted rotors
V6 Coupe Strut brace
K&N Apollo induction kit (I may change to a Sparco HP300 if I dont like the K&N)
Parts Im thinking of buying:
Goodridge braided lines
Renault Laguna MkI front lip
There a few little things I have bought and want to buy for the car but aren't worth mentioning.

Hello Patrick and welcome to the forum.
That's a really informative first post and an object lesson in how it should be done!
The car sounds really interesting, post some pictures when you can so we can all drool over them.

Hello!
You are certainly a keen modifier, it would be good to see some pictures.
To be fair, most members on here have fairly standard well-maintained cars and some with nicely remapped ECU's etc.
Hope to see you around!

Re: Greetings from New Zealand
Yer, will get onto photos later, don't have very nice photos of the V6 one quite yet. Yer, I looked into getting an ECU remap for the V6, but it was only 10hp and 15nm increase for $1000NZD (500 pounds). So didn't really see the value in it.
Quite into modifying as it somehow makes my car more personal to me if that makes sense, and I also I like to go down to Hampton Downs Race track to do some fun open day track driving. I have taken the 2L 406 down and had a blast and can't wait til the other one is ready for the track.
Some photos for the time being;

Re: Greetings from New Zealand
E46, he imported it from Scotland 2 years ago. He took it into the BMW dealership and said they have never seen a top of the line spec BMW in NZ before as it has all the bells and whistles.
