hi all

My7 name is Chris and i live in Bristol nd have just purchased a 2.0 110 HDI GTX estate loving it so far just a few niggles to sort so will be bugging you all for advice and parts :oops:

Thanks for the welcome. I have been having some issue accessing the site getting the following error

Service Temporarily Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.


My first question is really that some time when i turn the ignition on i get some beeps in real quick concession any ideas?

Hi mate, I had issues too but seem to have sorted themselves out now.

When you get the beeps ( 3 beeps? ) does something come up on the display panel, above the heater control panel?
2003 2.2hdi estate - mine
1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine
2019 Citroen C3 something - the wife's
PP2000 user, can help with faults / diagnostics in the Bournemouth area.

Nope nothing in its really quick beeps

Thanks for hanging in there Chris, as you've probably seen the site had some major issues over the weekend, that must have been quite off putting for a newbie :oops:

Does the car still have the original radio? Any other after market electronic goodies?

The car is completely standard as it has a CD changed I haven't ripped the HU out. It has cobra alarm stickers on the window but as my remote does not work i'm using the key to open the doors. Its also not everytime

Sorry to hear you joined when we had a few problems! On the plus side, the forum is now responding much faster than it has for a little while..

Nice choice of car mate I too own a 2.0 110Hdi rapier 2002 estate, Any help I can offer I will :wink:
2002 110 HDi estate, Rapier in monaco blue! ( found quite a bit more power :cheesy: ) SOLD I've sorted the airbag light :cheesy:

I find its like driving a sofa its so nice to site in. I manages avg. 51mpg on a 500 mile trip mixed Mway and A roads but only 32 in town. Is that because its an Auto? Anyway here's the list of things/parts I need

Central locking
drivers door leccy windows panel
sat nav remote
engine cover clips
door paint
door spring clip thing to stop it swinging open and hitting the wing
rear number plate light cover
door sill
HID
rear center head reset
satnav screen
glove box interior
wiper blades
