Hi folks
New site member here, but have owned a 406 1800cc Petrol model for about 11 years
I need some advice - for the last 2 days I've noticed a failry loud whistling noise in the cabin when driving to / from work, getting louder as the speed increases. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side ? The windows are definitely closed all the way, and all doors are firmly closed.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be - door or window seal or something else ?
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve and welcome aboard.
Can't really add anything to lozz's suggestion, other than to check nothing's caught in either door.

Hi, have you got a sunroof - used to be a weak spot on VAGs....
Maybe, as suggested, get a mate to drive and then had a good look / feel around the doors and try to pull them tight to see if it quietens.
Last resort is to turn the radio up.

Re: Hello - need some advice please!
Thanks for the replies - turns out it was the window seal on the passenger side front.
The end of the seal was loose, fixing it back in place has solved the problem
