Hi To All

Post by Rolebama »

Hi, I haven't bought a 406 yet, but am looking. My 306 has given up the ghost, and I have decided I really want a bigger car now. Hope to have one soon.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have just got in from buying one which I will pick up tomorrow. A 1998 2.1 GLX. Everything works, and has just had belt and waterpump changed. Nice long MOT (Sep) and at the right price.
Now I just know you are going to tell me all the bad things about the 2.1, so will don tin hat and duck down into trench.

Never driven a 2.1, but all the owners speak highly of them.

Get some pics posted when you can.

Totally agree, I loved my 2.1TD. Fantastic engines ("boringly reliable" as someone on here said).

Let us have some pics when you get a chance, this was mine
