Hi and welcome :cheesy:

Is it the 1.9 or 2.1 engine you've got? Either way, both very reliable and 220k is barely run in, it'll keep going for a while yet!

arrgghh computer crashed so I apologise if it posts twice.
its the 1.9, the chap I got it from for a shockingly low price said it had a new engine fitted a while ago. it drives great and the fuel consumption is great- going from a fto v6 auto to this has been a god send!!

Welcome to the forum.

The 1.9 is a good solid car with an almost bullet-proof engine.

the fto had the major down fall of having the v6 noise, the burble from the stainless steel system and the tiptronic 'box all made for great drives but not great on the wallet
some owners I spoke to were getting 240-250 out a full tank- f*ck that lol
im loving the sipping fuel of the estate just wish my fuel gauge wasn't as jumpy
