Newbie to world of peugeot

Post by BigDaz »

Hello all newbie from Scotland here my name is Daz i just picked up a silver 406 S HDI as a new work car just thought its always better being part of a club these days and this one seems great it is abit weird driving a pug as i am a vauxhall man and have always drove vauxhall's but needs must traveling 100+ miles a day for work needed a cheap diesel and pug diesels are meant to be really strong so i am told my new purchase Has 175k on the clock for the sum of £500 which i thought wasn't to bad and seems to run fine

Hello!

Yes they're good old workhorses, 175k is nothing. Looks like a nice clean example 8)

Hi & welcome aboard. 8)

Jon's right, it's barely run in. Looks like a nice tidy one too.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
