Morning all!

Post by sergeantcortez »

Good morning from a wet and miserable Santa Pod!

Picked up our new-to-us 2001 2.2HDI GTX estate two days ago, no pictures because its raining sideways...

Bought it on Thursday, by Friday morning it was packed to the gunwales with camping kit and on it's way South. I have fallen in love with it already, for an old bus on rubbish tyres I can't believe how well it steers.

Looking forward to having a nose around this forum... :D

Welcome.

Like Doggy, I've owned a few 406s, 3 of which were the 2.2hdi - great engine and the car in general is very underrated.

Feel free to look through the Knowledge Base on the home page, lots of information there too

Enjoy your travels down South - I'm here already

I ran Hdi estates for about 10 years, I still think they are the best car Peugeot ever made. Enjoy. 8)

Well, 500 mile round trip in mostly the sort of weather that has Noah breaking out his Workmate... Absolutely terrific car, I feel I'm a little late to the party. When Peugeot let the engineers design the cars!
