stumbled accross this forum after Recently buying my first peugeot and what a belter, both the site and the car ! Its a 1999 dark blue v6 estate with electric heated leather, climate and sunroof ! as well as cruise control which does'nt work (not bothered tho ! ) only thing it seems to be missing is a trip computer ? should it have one ?

Hi, try the button on the end of the wipers.
Should show date, miles from fill, miles to fill, ave. speed, ave. mpg, etc. etc.

tried that, display shows outside temp/ radio station ?? perhaps it did'nt come with one ? i just thought with the rest of the spec it would automatically have one ?

Sounds like an exec. If it's a D8 (the radiator grille looks like the one on my sig) then you'll have a considerable amount of wiring work to retro-enable the trip computer as it's contained within the temperature/stereo display so you do have the computer, but the exec wiring looms (main and fascia harnesses) don't have the necessary wiring to connect it up.

If however it's a D9 (mesh radiator grille) you're probably out of luck if it's not already there.
