He said what now?

I still reckon we should have a Welsh division - there's so many members from there.

Hi my name is Steve i am from Scotland in Fife, yep i know your friend & mine Gordon Brown land
I bought a Silver 406 Rapier on a 51 plate sold as seen and did not even cover 70 miles in it as the timing belt went, i have had found out this model has an odd ball engine as it is the TU model with an EGR valve at the back of the head.

I was delighted with my purchase but due to the car having 120k miles i thought timing belt & fan belt as well as full service kit ordered but the belt went and i am gutted i can't get a second hand head anywhere.

How many of you guys have heard of this TU engine?

Maximum frustrations as i was a very long time ago a Panel Beater to trade and all my contacts are coming up with zero availability, everybody thinks they have the head but upon inspection on EGR valve and also to boot the valves in the TU head are shorter due to higher compression or something :?

Welcome Steve, :cheesy:

No need to point out the Brown link, we know you can't all be blamed for the actions of one incompetent tosser
