Hello all.
Decided to join up and say Hi as im picking up my first 406 in a few days.
Its a 2001 2.2HDi Executive and its a minter inside and out. Hoping that my first impressions of it being a good car are spot on as I currently drive a 1.9dCI Laguna and its utter rubbish hence needing a change.
Really looking forward to picking it up. Hopefully i wont be needing your Tech sections just yet but its nice to see that they have plenty of info for when i invariably need some help.

Well i picked up the HDI today and went for a nice long drive. I sure made the right choice in picking this one, its superb. Biggest surprise for me with the car is the JBL sound system. Its brilliant! The nav system aint half bad for something 8 years old aswell.
Only one problem though, and id be thankful for any suggestions, is the cd changer cassette thingy wont eject from the changer. Push the button it makes a noise like it wants to come out then starts loading the cd's instead. Any idedas? Im now gonna search the forum to see if anyone has had the same problem but thought id mention her aswell.
