We might be talking about the same thing Wiggy. The dents on mine (and most others I notice) are above the ends of the handle near the badges, they always seem to be worse on the left too. I'd show you a picture of mine but I spent ages pushing / knocking them out so now you can hardly see them unless you're looking for it or catch a reflection....

May be to late but try a company called towsure they do cycle racks all sorts and very over the phone order on the net cheers Les
