get yourself a clay kit. took me 2 hours to do mine but it will take all the crap off the paint (tree sap etc) and leave it smooth as. even brought the colour back as well.

Yeah I find clay bars very good for cleaning up paintwork, including a load of stuff you can't even see. Gotta get some more of that...

I use Rain-X on all the glass except the rear passenger windows - in heavy rain at 100-120 km/h I barely have to use the wipers at all. It doesn't work too well if you don't keep the glass clean enough and you have to re-apply it every month or so, but besides that it's great.

Yup iagree with you Zilog clay baring a car is most probs the best way of getting a car looking good,
the Windolene thing was just an acident, spilt it down one side of the car & it went every where, but the end result wasnt too bad it had actualy done me a favour in the end and saved me alot of time as it got all the Green tree sap off,
its done the same job as T-cut aspose but less abrasive, :|
igot a good coat of Merguiars on today so it will be ok for a month or so now me hopes,
Next time iwill clay bar it tho Me thinks,

as for Rain-X ive used it before and ididnt rate it idont think its efect lasts very long and its not cheap idont think,
