front fogs fitting

should there be something else holding the fogs in place at the bottom ? this is my new bumper so I want it all sussed before fitting so its all done .
Replacement !

Should be a thread in Knowledge base, that Gary did reference fitting fog lights, so i'd take a gander over on that

If it's a D8, which it looks like, then they're bolted in at the top (with torx screws) and held in at the bottom with a long spring clip IIRC. They could be the opposite way round, but it looks like you're missing the spring clip.

there is a bit of steel torx bolted in on old bumper , could that be what I need ?

yes you will need that and the 2 springs as said before.
