that everytime I wash the car, a piece of trim falls off....?
Worse still, a visit to Longleat prompted me to remove the tow bar electrics boots and the aerial and the little bloody monkeys pulled off the black roof insert at the back left hand side of the car (estate)! Luckily they bent it but left it hanging on the aerial stub!!
Moral of the story: Buy a cheap run around for safari trips!
I've never come across bits of trim falling off when I wash my car, be it by hand, pressure washer or drive through car wash.
I supose it depends on how well previous owners treated the car.
My car is almost 11 years old and I'm only its second owner, I got it as it just turned 6. Perhaps thats why its running so well and all in one piece, trim and all.
Yeah, the last I went, I took a company hire car and the buggers sank their teeth into the aerial and got the helixed string ripped out from underneath the black heat shrink shroud!
i went to longleat last year but i bottled it when it came to the monkeys and i bypassed them i was sooooo glad when i seen the state of the cars that didnt

Longleat is a regular trip for me the kids love it but the monkey enclosure is defo out of the question after the last time.
They jumped on the bonnet and pulled the rubber out of the windscreen wipers and used the ends to clean their ears out to say i was a trifel miffed was an understatement. especially when it proceeded to chuck it down on the way home,
That wouldn't have posed a problem for me.
I always keep my old set of wipers, in the box the new set came in, in the boot. One never knows when a blade can fail on you. Its usualy at the most inopertune time.
Not that I'd ever entertain the idea of taking my 406 through a safari park, Monkeys or no monkeys.

And 2 new Bosch Wipers for Daddy.................''YAY'' [/list]
Bah is what I say to Bosch.
I've bought 3 brand new sets of Bosch wipers in the last year and all 3 smeared and left a patch of half wiped rain water on the drivers side, directly at eye level too.
I thought the first set was a fluke, second just bad luck... but the third took the biscuit. I'll never buy another Bosch wiper blade.
