ooops Bump.

Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

ooops Bump.

Post by Jimmy »

I've had a bump :(

In merging traffic i was moving into the left lane, some BMW behind was being a typical BMW driver and giving me near enough no room so was looking in my left mirror more than i should have done. looked fwd and the car infront had done an emergancy stop as the car infront of her wanted to let someone out! I applied the brakes and in the stopping distance i came into contact with her bumper (306) ( ;) ) i could not see any damage to either cars (at that point) , except her toweye cover had poped out a little.

Later that night while i was playing pool (winning 3-0 at this point), i was looking at my car parked just next to the window and noticed that the grill (honeycom thing) is shattered and rattleing about! With this discovery it made a dire impact on my abillity to play pool and starting loosing.... to a GIRL! :| :frown:

Got one coming from pug on monday for £10 + VAT. anyone know if this will include the chrome badge? i forgot to ask.

So you collided, both agreed no damage, and went on your merry way(s)

I'd say you got lucky. I'd have insisted on a bodyshop inspection and report resulting no doubt in a bumpr re-spray, some new clips, trims etc. (if someone hit me from behind) :cheesy:
