Ah lovely rain :x

finally got it sorted, i noticed 2 other blanking plugs in the pond in the back, didnt notice em before, saying that though i was really concentrating on finding the problem as, believe it or not when your in the boot of the car whilst in a car wash and undersill pressure washer is belting away underneath you its bloody loud ! :P anyways with me trusty torch, i waiting till the undersill set about its blasting stage and found the problem to be a blanking plug in the corner of the well ( i know its round and circles dont have corners ) so i set about with the silicone gun and seal the swine up, problem solved. Result, spotless black pearl and a fixed leak, all in all a productive day. Oh are i also found what was causing a knock on the front end, yet another tie rod ball joint knackerd, this time off the front anti-roll bar, for £15 i changed the pair at the rate im fixing one, 2 start knocking lol. i only noticed it while i was painting me calipers red, which i might add looks the dogs dangly doo dads with the gold annodised studded shadowchrome wheels, on a black car. can ya tell im well chuffed lol

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I had/have the same problem with the pool, I drilled it but what tools I had in the boot were going rusty, when I was up the stealers I mentioned the problem, he looked out the window at the car and said straight away "it's your lights" letting in moisture and thats turning to condensation soaking everything. I have lexus style rear lights. that I haven't siliconed yet, reading this thread reminded me to do it [One day]
