got some chrome strip on a roll from halfrauds for a previous car and it stuck on with d/sised sticky tape, should be able to remove chrome strip and cut length to fit, make sure dont stick it down all way along until you got both "ends" in position

If you're going for a complete re-spray it might be an ideal opportunity to colour code the body mouldings. Take chrome strips out, spray whole car including moundings, put new bling chrome in....
