Looks just like a D9 to me; I'd never have been able to tell that V6 engine was from a D8 though.
Is it definitely one of the D8.5s ?
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.
Thats an early D9 mate, it was brought out before the ESJ94S engine was implemented. The stalk is likely to be from a d8 and put there to replace a faulty original.

D9 Executive without sunroof. Seats must be elctric heated from the look of it. A/C and Climate control and center console is definetely D9 not D8.

And a cruise control stalk. It has the cruise control throttle actuator under the bonnet though so I suspect it's had the stalks removed and cover replaced (not surprising since it's easy to shred them )
It's definitely just an early D9 exec though
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
ya I thought i could barely make out the end of the stalk. (bottom righ hand corner of the clim control screen)
I've never driven either but there is a 13bhp gain so I'd imagine it'd be slightly better. The new one also has VVT so you're looking at smoother response and slightly better fuel economy.
