I feel deeply, deeply sorry for the man who must be seen in a shitbox of that magnitude.

I've been in a diesel one and it was like a bloody tank. Rattly, noisy just crap.

The shape offends me too, its not a car, its an egg on wheels

You know, I consider myself fairly intelligent, but I still cannot work out what those sort of MPV's are for? sure you can put more people in them but then there's no boot Image

That interior looks like a kid designed it........

''hey let's put all the primary instumentation over there instead of in front of the driver''.......

''now let's see, oh yes f*ck it, lets do away with that round steering wheel and have a joy stick instead''

''oh and lets make it like a green house inside so everyone can look in and laugh at them''

Don't get me started on Mitsi/Nissan pick ups........WTF? I saw someone the other day load a full week's ASDA shopping onto the pick up 'flat bed' of an L200 and drive off........I would love to have seen the mess it was all in when they got home

Ah now there is a good reason company car drivers buy dual-cab pick ups....

Tax!

They closed the loophole a few years ago that allowed people to buy an ordinary estate or 4X4, black out the back windows and register it as a commercial vehicle, therefore pay much less tax on the thing. But those dual cabs have a properly defined separate loadspace (pallet-sized) and are capable of carrying a decent load, so they still get away with it. 4 of the managers in my last job had them, the GM's one was quite nice too, leather, climate..... tidy. Mind you the only load it ever carried was all the family's luggage on continental holidays. :?

I thought they were changing that this year so if you take your ''commercial'' vehicle home beit a Van/Pick Up you WILL be liable for the fuel benefit at the full rate and not just the £500.00 per year it used to be.

Van users may be forced to leave it at work and then pick it up again in the morning :|

ok dairees youre right you got it first 8) 8)

brief update
i can no longer put up with said shitroen so i've complained and they are reviewing it because my argument is how can a petrol picarshole be anything like a Diesel 407, to which he asked the ultimate question "what dont you like about it" i nearly swallowed my friggin cup so after 5 minutes rant at the stupid boy he agreed i probably was given the wrong car (no sh*t)
so watch this space cos tomorrow should see a replacement 8) 8) 8) 8)

Now this is where I can't work out the point of them (picasso/ original scenic/ focus C-Max etc), as they all only seat 5 people. It's just a high up xsara/megane/focus that's only good for old people who struggle getting into cars.

I agree 100%. Did I mention I need to get a tumble dryer from tesco, I think I mentioned it in the "ugliest car" post

Let's hope they'll give you something decent tomorrow Trem
