estate rear wiper

Post by robb »

Hi chaps is it possible to directly wire the rear wiper motor to the wiper stalk so it comes on by using the stalk bypassing the relay as it is playing up again thanks in advance....Rob

Possibly, but I *think* it uses the relay to self-park.

Replace the relay if it's playing up - the wiring on the stalk is not suitable for the sort of current the motor will pull

Exactly

(What doth it profit a man if he saves a whole box full of relays and burgers his COM2000)?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
