Hi i dont know if this is the right place to post this...excuse me if it isnt.
I just bought a 1996 r plate 19tdi.
The tyres need replacing very soon and i have seen some 406 coupe alloys with tyres up for sale for 150 quid.
My question is ...will they fit my car.
Many thanks for any help.
Jason

Hi Jimbollox,
I'm gonna respectfully bow out of that one, I know that most 4 stud pugs have the same PCD but there's a difference in the offset. Someone who knows the details will be along soon!

afaik, every other peugeot wheel will fit on apart from the 206 gti180 wheels, which you'll need spacers for
as i said, that's what i know. but i could be wrong

Any 206 wheels won't fit as they run ET25, but like Jord says above most Peugeot wheels will fit as long as they are 4 stud, and not from an 806 as they are PCD of 98 IIRC. 307 Challengers look the same as GTi180 alloys but an offset of ET18 I think.

My 406 is wearing a set of alloys from a broken-up 307. They could do with a refurbishment (they came kerbed and one of them is fairly deeply scored, and all were filthy, but I cured the filthy problem with a lot of elbow grease and they don't look half bad now) but they suit the car pretty well (IMHO).
Easy fit, no spacers etc required.
No idea about offset, but I'm of the "they haven't fallen off and the car hasn't killed me yet" mindset - meaning, if that statement remains true, then there's obviously not a problem

If you scour through the pug pictures section, you'll find a 406 with 17" 307 challengers on it. It looks fantastic.
Also the 406 coupe has two types of alloys for the early ones. Both look the same but the 3.0l ones had 16" instead of 15" in the 2.0l
