Would liek dome D8.5 rub strips so I have the chrome strips. My D8's are a little damaged and scuffed. Anyone know how much they are from the dealers? Or even how much normal D8's are as I would like to pain them Glossblack or CF wrap them.

About £150 for the rear bumper, and around £45 each for the other 6 strips IIRC

What about colour coding them, could be an interesting look, never seen it done before

I often wondered about that, but decided to wimp out and let someone else be the guinea pig ^_^

There was a silver saloon on here with colour coded strips, looked good too Anyone remember who's it was so we can try to find some pics?

Almost got me but I'd wrap the chrome bits in carbon fiber ;)

I'd colour code them but silvers the hardest colour to match.

Why bother? If you don't want the silver inserts, get rub strips without them.
