REAR LIGHT SEALS

any1 with a parts booklet ?

can you buy new rear light seals from stealers ? and what sort of price are they,

or is it best to just silicone my old ones, (got free silicone i use it at work)

id try the free solution first as you can always try the dealer option later.

im glad u said that ste, cos ive done it this way now :lol:

ive used transparant sealant on the light itself all on the inside of the seal, and also on the body were the seal meets ,

also were the the clear bit meets the black bit on the lenz part,

that should defo seal it ive used plenty 8)

car is bone dry inside, i was shocked to find under carpets wasnt wet, hopefuly now my amps wont get full of condensation

may have been a good idea to get sum lexus style lights, they come with new seals,

just wish they would make a nice set because the ones available now are real crap, hate that silver shiny effect, :roll:

the silicone should do ok, if you sealed yours up today, and i did mine about 3 weeks ago then theres plenty of advance notice if water will start coming back in, but i doubt it will again.

seems to be a result. pissed down all last night and no water insode the lights, more important my amps had NO condensation, 8)
