Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

Yummy!

I didn't realise there were two types of leather seats on a 406. These ones don't have the stripes on the seats themselves like you do on SRi's..

The seats changed in late 1997/early 1998. I dont know why as the ribbed ones dont look right imo.

Did your ashtray come with the 'wood' effect? Strange how you have leather seats yet a vinyl steering wheel/gear knob and windy rear windows.... what model is that?!

Mine is an LX model. I changed the plastic ashtray to the wooden look one as well as the seats from fabric to leather from an SRi.

Ahh that makes sense.

How did you sort the drivers seat ECU for the memory and the mirrors? Or didnt you?

The memory function doesn't work cos I couldn't be bothered working out the connections. I just connected a +12v feed directly into switches to drive the motors. Works well :)
