Haynes manual

Post by kasper »

Greetings from a newbie

Have to remove the front bumper by the looks of things just to replace the front fog light !! My question is, the Haynes manual available from halfrauds only covers up to 2002. As mine is an 03 model does anyone know if this is also covered ?

Cheers

yes mate ithink yours will be coverd in the haynes manual,
you couid always save your self a few quid by posting a thread people on here will be able to give you info on how to remove the bumper.

ithink you might be able to get away with not having to remove the bumper to change fog light

Thanks for the response, will have to get myself one cause it definately looks to me as the only way to reach the top torx screw is by removing the washer bottle which for some reason is fixed from the front !! hence the bumper removal

you do not need to remove the bumper to change a fog light.

i know cos i fitted 2 new fogs to my car only weeks ago.

get the car jacked up in the air as high as your jack will take it. remove the bottom wheel arch plastic cover.

access is easy under the car.

oh ang on mine is a D8 but im sure it will be similar for a D9 :?
