had a bloke knock on my door asking if i had a spare green rear bumper as he had reversed his car into a trailer and the hitch had punched a good size hole in it! well ive got a red and a blue one but he wasnt haveing it
anyway got me thinking what are the bumpers made off?are they just some sort of plastic and how would you repair them? is it a case of just getting a fiberglass kit or do you need some special stuff?

Normally plastic and only have to withstand a impact of 2.5mph

You can use fibreglass or plastic weld, which ever you prefer.
