paint codes

i am trying to find the paint code on my d9. i think it will be on the label whihc also has the tyre pressures on but what does the paint code look like? there seems to be about 3 or 4 codes there! which is the one i want?

It's a four-letter code, and will be printed on the sticker affixed to the driver's A-pillar.

Your car, I suspect, is painted with "Platinum Silver", a varnished metallic paint, which will have the paint code EYCC.

what colur is the code EZRC?

Aluminium Grey, which is a 307 colour, I believe; I don't think it was ever on the 406 (but please correct me if I'm wrong). It's a varnished metallic paint.

well there is a 406 on ebay being broken with that code. maybe a respray though?

The picture really isn't great. I guess that colour could have made it to the 406; if it's the paint code showing on the A-pillar sticker then that would be confirmation.

Either way, I wouldn't risk taking parts off the car as the colour difference could well be far too noticeable to live with.

It is a sh*t photo - I hate it when eBay sellers do that. It's an absolutely tiny image and doesn't help any potential buyers!
