Drivers side rear carpet sodden....

Anyone have any pointers on this one, spare tyre well dry, drivers footwell dry as are all the others.
The rear offside footwell carpet is saturated. Door seal seems to be fine and window closes properly ??
Help!

Only time this happened to mine was when we were camping & the rain was that torrential it was hitting the car sideways; also the door sill rubbers were hanging off which didn't help!
May also be worth popping the door card off to see if the water shedder has been played with by edward scissorhands.

i also think seal behind the doorcard
remove doorcard and check the door seal behind it is sealed all the way round ....
once you remove doorcard you will notice a sponge type seal all over the door. check the sponge seal is sealed all round and isnt damaged ..

and look in the boot (from inside of car
) while its being washed

When i had a leak after a repair the garage sprinkled talcum powder around the area,if there is a leak you can see the track the water has taken in the powder.
