D8 wing mirror repair

I have a small piece of plastic missing from the black surround from the drivers side mirror. I kept the mirror from my old car but it's a leccy mirror. Does anyone know if the surround is the same so i can transplant the internals from a manual mirror into a leccy one?
Don't want to take it all apart and not be able to put it together again.
