I had to put the spare wheel (for the first time ever) in the snow. Anyway, under the boot carpet is this strip of rubber.

Is this supposed to fit on the bottom of the front bumper?
It's the right length, and seems to fit, but won't secure.

Funnily enough, when I went to see Ade last month he had a red saloon in with this thing still fitted, and I swear this is the first time I've ever seen one still attached.

So, what do you think? How is it supposed to attach? And do you have yours?

And you were right that Frank has already posted on this: Front Splitter.

I think the answer I was looking for is: very sticky glue
