Replace D9 radiator grille badge

I have damaged my radiator grille, and I'm looking for a replacement. Unfortunately, my local breakers seems to think that £70 is a fair price for a knackered old spare.

There's a lot of listings for new replacements on ebay, but they're all without the Peugeot badge. Is this something which can be transferred at all from my own to the replacement?

And - if any of you by any chance have one lying around that looks OK I'd love to hear about it.

Yes. Just carefully prise it out. Used to do it with my old one when I cleaned it. It'll be stiff as hell the first time you do it though, so be careful not to snap it.

£70 is nuts
Have you tries searching ebay for "406 breaking" (then order by distance from you) and not just for the actual part?

Unfortunately the UK market for spares is a lot healthier compared to here. It's cheaper for me to order the parts from the UK and have them shipped halfway across Europe!

As a consequence people don't really fix cosmetic stuff here, which keeps the prices for used spares high. It is really just a downward spiral for uglier and more worn cars.
