Working on my car over the past few days, I noticed that the jacking point is bent and that someone (me) tried to jack the car up using the "lip" next to the jacking points - bending them and exposing metal. It seems to be some rubbery coating - is it some underseal type stuff? Can I just hammer the "lips" back inline and cover them with this underseal and it will OK?

I guess so, if you can find something like Pug used - you may have to do what I did, which was wander along to the local paint store, point at it and say "ug?" Then fill the sills with something like Waxoyl.

Bitumastic paint should do the trick, kinda 'soft' and warty repellent.

My copying of the sig was for other reasons, a double entendre if you will - read it and think of something else
