Or about 7p each (inc. VAT) from your local Peugeot dealer, as I recall.

You know what makes it worse? Before the 406 i had a Citroen that never broke down or needed anything from a dealer in 9 years.... Citroen dealer is a hell of a lot closer to me... In fact Dai could fall out of bed and he'll be in the dealers showroom.

42.6 miles, according to Google maps. There is one slightly closer but it's harder to get to (and not right near my sis-in-law's)

I suspect the distance to your friendly local Pug dealer is directly proportionate to how much you spend there (I was there again yesterday, ogling various Pugs & Citroens)

You should be able to get just about anything for your Pug from a Citroen dealer (or are they incapable of doing anything at all without a VIN like they are here? )

I thought we said once that by pushing what's left of the clip into the sill cavity one is giving rise to the possibility of blocking the drain holes.....rotting the sills......then the suspension collapses and the car is a write off?

Just done Google Maps to the Pug garage. Turns out it's only actually 9 miles away, so that's only an 18 mile round trip
That said, they usually have to ship in parts from the Swindon branch, so the distance for me to swindon (to get immediate parts) is 19 miles, making that a 38 mile round trip.

Well you won't be stood around laughing when all that's left of the world is half a dozen broken-off Peugeot sill rubber retaining clips, oh and my 3" piece of Volvo coil spring.

*opens new tab

*searches 'Pedantry'

*opens Free Dictionary result

*finds definition and executes a copy/paste:

"the habit or an instance of being a pedant, esp in the display of useless knowledge or minute observance of petty rules or details"

Like they'd ever survive.

And Welly: capitalise 'O' as it's the start of a sentence, commas or semi-colons at the end of each bullet point, 'P' in 'Pedantry' to lower, dot after 'esp' as it's an abbreviation, and you're missing a full stop.
