what i can see in the rain is just the obvious stuff

bumper=goosed
number plate & light= goosed
exhaust.pushed forward and concertinad=goosed
dunno if anything metal is bent cos its chucking it down and why should i bother it wasnt my fault

sh*t mate :( I really hope the stupid woman was insured and/or you have comp insurance

Is it me or does the underside of the 407 look like it's not designed to last?

Have you got any pictures of the Yaris so we can laugh?

Hi Trem, seems pretty simular damage to my car last year. In one of your photos, is your spare wheel well slightly dented? I had to have a new boot floor, full new exhaust. The cat was damaged by me driving the car to the hard shoulder and pulling on the downpipe, and then a new bumper. Looking at the car after the bump, it's immaculate. If fact better than before, as there was a couple of small scractches on the bumper. The car that hit me was probably doing about 30mph when SHE hit me. Here's a reminder of the accident damage so you can compare(boot wasn't damaged):

There was a dent on the actual spare wheel well, the boot floor itself was fine, but it still had to be replaced. I couldn't complain really, I had £1500 worth of manufacturer's exhaust and cat on a nearly 4 year old car.

I know, the cat alone was £765 & vat. I'm sure an after market version would have been a fraction of that.

Bloody hell. I'm glad you've got it sorted on insurance, I'd probably try to get as much work done for free as I could :)

The only original part of the exhaust system is the particulate filter, and that's the one bit I was hoping they would change.
