Hi all,
So I have a D9 silver 1.8 16v saloon (well, my Dad does, I'm borrowing it and trying to fix it for him in the process). Half the front bumper is missing, so I'd like to get a new one and attach it. Could anyone tell me how difficult a task this is?
Regards
Hugh

Re: Front bumpter
Well...
Its fairly straight forward, and the directions on how to sound harder than it really is
Open the bonnet, remove the front grill, unscrew the washer bottle filler pipe ( blue cap ) and remove the headlights, 3 x 10mm bolts on each light ( 1 on the slam panel, 1 down by the grill and 1 tucked inside the inner wing )
Under the front of the car, at the bottom of the bumper there are 5 torx on each side. The 2 bigger ones are for the foglights and the 3 smaller ones separate the wheelarch liner from the bumper. When the liner is removed you will see a couple of bolts that go through the bumper into the underside of the wing, remove these. Lastly there is a white bayonet type clip that holds the top of the bumper to the wing behind the headlights, give these 1/4 turn and the bumper should be free, this area of the bumper is a bit fragile so be careful.
This is all from memory, I may* have got some bits a little bit wrong....
Here are a couple of guides from the knowledge base, on the main forum page.

Re: Front bumpter
Sounds about right.
Getting the headlights out is the trickiest bit.
