Hi,
Anyone know how the handle cowling is held on?
I closed my tailgate with a bit of a push today and heard a crack. The right side of cowling is ever so slightly loose: minor movement.
Thought it might have cracked inside or a clip has come loose.
Will have to remove the interior door card, but is it worth it? No tangible difference, eg. Not hanging off.
Don't really want to start messing if I don't have to.
Any ideas?

If I remember correctly, it's held in by 2 10mm bolts accessed from behind - watch out for sharp edges...

The interior panel is only 2 torx screws for the handle, then it just pops off, start from the lower edge first and cover the grey clips with your hand or they ping off into a different dimension never to be seen again.!

Maybe look for a replacement first then you can see the bolt holes in the back of the lock surround etc before tackling the job.
