That's ok - I'm just getting old and self opinionated
Seriously though Gus, the 406 really struggles to wear ANY mods with style. It's just one of those cars.
Lowering and a respectful set of 17"s and maybe a
light tint on the windows is about all you'll get away with IMO. Maybe then I'll let you fit the eye brows, but just to keep you happy.
A guy drove past me the other day in a D8 with big wheels (but not lowered

) and a big Fart-Can exhaust and I actually burst out laughing and everyone else will think the same.
Just be careful my friend and spend your hard earned wisely

1) No, I presume your not 17 and your defiantly don't drive a corsa. the lexas light just look cheap on almost every car i have seen.
2) No, would just look plain silly.
3) The best of the bunch, but still heading to no
4) No, if your going to fit body kit, fitt a body kit don't double sided tape a few bits of extra plastic on.
Over all i agree with Welton, the 406 just doesn't taken mods, personally i don't even like spoiler on them as i like they ruin the lines. Nice wheels and lowering a bit is ok, maybe a nice shiny tail pipe, but nothing to big or loud.
I am yet to see a mod on a 406 i would do to mine. Would like some 16" pug wheels, the chrome mustache for the D9 and a nice tail pipe for mine but thats it.

Hi,
I see where you are coming from, trying to make the 406 look less like a taxi (I every private taxi company in the land uses them)
But the mod’s you have posted all look crap; I cannot see the point in moding cars. Save up and buy a car like the look of. Don’t be one of these drivers that every notices for the wrong reasons and just laughs at. If you really want to change the way I looks get the following:-
As mentioned above the Peugeot 16” alloys
Maybe standard mud flags front and rear with chrome puegort writing on them
Peugeot standard spoiler and get it spread the same colour as your car
And I think Peugeot did/does a sport grill for the front as well although not sure.
Other than that leave it alone

As you can see i've already done No.1 on your list :
and i think the brows and the splitter are okay - not sure about the mirrors tho'

I agree with Welton. There have been some complete bodywork remakes which look ok I guess, but cheap mods really do nothing for the 406. The exception being the OEM spoiler
Lexarse lights really are overdone and make you look like a 17 year old with a Halfords loyalty card

To me it's just about expressing your own individuality - i would love to have enough savvy/time/resources etc to make my own parts.

I quite like the mod of taking the V6 badge off and fitting a diesel style exhaust.

Every one has pretty much said what I think.
The 406 looks cheaper with most mods than without.
Lexus lamps should be called "clitoris lamps" every fanny's got them.
Definitely to be avoided.
Splitters ok but still looks glued on.
