rear suspension knocking.

98, 1.9td estate.
I had the usual knocking at the rear end, and consequently replaced the tracking arms and a forward trailing arm mount. All was well for a few hundred miles.
I have now developed a similar knocking again on the drivers side. Closer inspection shows the only movement to be around one of the subframe mounting bolts. Bolt seems tight enough. I notice that one of the two bolts has a cup washer fitted (same on both sides) but the other does not. Should there be a bush or something in here? It is the most forward of the two bolts, right near the inner edge of the wheel where the movement seems to be. As far as I can see this is the only possible cause of the knocking, but can't under stand why it would have suddenly started, particulalry when the bolt seems tight.
any thoughts?
