It's probably a daft question (I seem to be good at them just now

) but did you try asking on the
406 coupe club?

The badge is exactly the same as on the Saloon.
I recently got one in good nick from a scrapyard. Just go looking for 02 to 04 reg 406 saloons on a scrapyard and you'll find one
The part with legs of the lion on the push button simply pops off too, so no need to take the whole lock.

Mainly taxis I must say. All front ended.
I found an 03 plate burnt out and a few 02 and 04 plates with hefty front end damage. Found a badge in good nick though

and my first proper mod for the coop: Silver interior door handles

Wish it was like that here, I'd have to ring small ads in the Blue Advertiser

Anyone know part number for the boot lock badge for the saloon.
Just weighing up options, and would help with search.

Somewhat on and off topic:
Was missing the i out of HDi, so was driving round in a high definition 406 for a while....
Peugeot were looking about £12 for an HDi badge, £3 from Citroen, same font and size.

Whilst doing a search last night, on a german forum I translated, some guy simply split the badge apart, and polished up the chrome and then the plastic, and sealed back up and job done
