Mirror replacement on 406 '98 Estate Hdi

My wing mirror has lost it's 'mirror glass' part but the backing etc all looks intact. Can I buy the mirror glass itself as a seperate item and fit to the backing?

Check your local Halfords. They usualy carry a large range of mirror glass in stock.
