Frozen Doors

Post by stevenlizuk »

I'm pig sick of my doors freezing shut on the frosty mornings, does anyone have any suggestions?

The locks and handles are fine but the door seals freeze.

On really cold mornings I've gone in the tailgate as it never freezes, which must make my neighbours think I'm weird.

I use liquid silicone, just rub a fair amount on the seals. Has worked fine for me at -25c

Vaseline works for me, but it needs re-applying every cold spell
