peugeot 206 vortex 17" wheels - will they fit our 406's (off

Would 17" peugeot 206 180 vortex fit my 406? I've tried to find the offset of these wheels off peugeot but they couldn't tell me ? the offset of a 406 v6 is 15 to 25 et I heard somewhere, do you or anyone know if the vortex wheels would fit or 406's
(or any of the wheels from 307 or 308's - will the offset on these fit our 406's?)
any help appreciated - why the hell did pug originally put such crappy 15" wheels on what is otherwise a nice looking motor?

Physically, yes. I've tried a set on mine and they go on. It all depends on what offset ones you get as 307 ones are roughly ET15 whereas the 206 ones I've got are ET28.
Speaking of which, I've got a set of Atlantis for sale...

I dunno if this helps, but I put a set of 307 Rapier alloys on my 406. They look nice, and the car doesn't feel any different to drive. But I don't know what the offset is on these, nor do I know what it was on the 406 steels I just got shot of.
Is it something I need to worry about?

Himbigchief: thanks for your help - you got 206 atlantis wheels for sale? i would be interested in buying these off you as long as they have a fit a 406, do you know if they will fit better than the vortex and are they at all buckled?

Not sure what offset the vortex are, so couldn't confirm whether they'd fit better or not. All I can tell you is that they fit on my 406 when I had them fitted with 215/40 and 205/45 tyres. I haven't had them fitted up with 225/45 (recommended to keep overall rolling radius more or less the same) so cannot be 100% whether they'd clear the front struts or not, but going from the offset of the 17's on mine, and the clearance I have, I wouldn't have though it'd be an issue.

ok mate, the atlantis wheels you have for sale - how much do you want for them, have they got tyres on, and are they in reasonable nik? not buckled - let me know how much you want - I like these wheels, as long as they fit without spacers and they're not buckled then thats perfect.
