HI,
Just playing with photo bucket.
Had an argument with a trucks nearside step. NOT my fault!
We did this at the same time as doing the sill dent/ rust

HI,
Ive got a very good best friend (
www.classicweddingcars.org) who's a demon welder and fingers like hammers!
The dent pushed out pretty good luckily for us.
When flatted and polished up the wing was great!
Notice the cup of tea on the bootlid as a copious supply of this is more important than the thinners are when working on a 406! So we did it ourselves at minimal cost.
My 'time served' old man was also in the paint trade all his life and both myself and my mate have learnt a lot from him.
Sorry about the quality of the pics as they were camera phone jobbies.
Incidentally halfrauds do excellent colour matched paints these days for around a tenner and matched my sherwood green perfectly. About 22,000 colours available I believe

Nice job! I was hoping for some shots between the dent and the primer but I guess that's like any magician, no giving away the secret
I'm with you on the fags but not the tea - I can't drink it anymore, it makes me gag (seriously). Ah well, there are alternatives *
takes another slurp of Turkish coffee*

HI,
No secrets really!
Just pushed out and trimmed with panel beating hammers and a dolly.
Skimmed over with plastic padding, primed and painted.
Like always I wish I'd have taken more.

Nice job, I have to get my hands on a rattle can (sherwood green code MORF) to finish a repair on my front wing. I went to my local halfrauds, and went away empty handed as they don't stock the colour, and my request at the mixing desk melted the young mans mind. I was told that they have no reference for that code, and they have more than 5 shades of sherwood green listed for Peugeot!
Did you have any problems with the paint code?

I can't do the fags or the tea anymore - just stong black coffee, or beer

HI,
I didn't encounter any problems getting my colour match at Halfrauds.
Just gave the code in saying 'its in the electronic catalogue you have'.
I did have 2 406's which were sherwood and had codes 'morm' and 'morf' the latter being slightly darker.
The last letter maybe peugeots way of shading?
Perhaps the guys I spoke to had some grey matter and hadnt spent all day listening to
'bangin tunes' at the hifi desk!
