Hi, I have a 1.8 petrol 406 with steels on, the tyres are 185/70 R14 and I would like new tyres on the front, I would like them to be very good ones! Until now I have gone for budget tyres because its all I could afford but now I can afford better ones I have no idea what to go for, most of my friends have lower profile alloys so I can’t talk to them about it, I just wondered what everyone’s opinion on here was?
Many Thanks!

I got a set of coupe 16" wheels with decent tyres (2 turned out to be noisy chinese efforts though!) for less than the price of 2 decent tyres!
Some on ebay, but bide your time you may be able to get a good deal. This is about it at the moment.
Check these out!

Worth keeping an eye on ebay. I'm thinking of getting a 'half built by ebay' sticker for mine.

Hey mate, looks like u got the wrong wheels on your car to begin with. Since you can afford better tyres, i'd invest in a set of 195/65 R15 steel wheels and then get matching tyres. It should be like driving a new car
