From the Hayne's book of lies, so if it's wrong it's not my fault!

I'm going to assume that you've removed all the interior trim, luggage tie down hoops, carpets, plastic vent in the rear wing, etc.

Slacken and remove retaining screws securing wheelarch liner to bumper. Free liners from bumper and slacken and remove retaining nuts and rubbers and ends of bumper to body.

Slacken and remove bolts securing rear of bumper to underbody (under the car)

Returning to luggage compartment, slacken & remove remaining bumper retaining nuts and mounting rubbers (6 in total)

Release ends of bumper (by wheelarch) and remove bumper (careful of the number plate wiring).

From the sounds of it, all you need to do is to remove the liners and undo the bolts behind them.

thanks
yeah had to remove the wheels ,wheel arch liner and right at the top there is a 10 mil with a long thread going through it so you cant get a small socket on it so a rachet spanner whent 0n the top on the bottom is a square piece of metal that rotates as soon as you use a spanner on the top but you can wiggle a 17mil open ended on to it and after about ten minutes its off!!!!!

Theres 1 bolt that you need to undo, with access from the rear arch lining. And then the screws at the bottom of the bumper each side. And you can get access to the others from inside the boot. If you have the CD Changer then you will have to reomve this in its holder for easier access. I have ordered a new rear bumper and a new bumper fitting kit, so i will replace all fixings. 8) I have removed one side of the rear bumper as it had come away from its fixing, once i removed fixing it was a doddle..
