Hello All,
Can anyone offer advice on replacing the rear door quarter light glass. Found mine shattered the other morning.
I now have a replacement glass but not sure how to change it and if I need anything else when replacing.
I'm hoping its an easy repair.
Thanks in advance
Paul

I THINK (not 100%, though I won't be far off) that if you open the door and whip the door card off you'll find a small bolt that holds the bottom of the window runner in place. Undo the bolt and you should be able to tease the top of the runner out enough to remove the glass, though it may take a goodly bit of wiggling.
If you're reusing the old window rubbers then smear the mating faces with a dab of sealant before reassaembling.
Half hour job, call it an hour with tea and fag stops.

These are a bit fiddly, there will be a bolt inside holding the window runner in (as suggested), but look on the outer edge of the door frame under the outer rubber door seal at the top of the door and you will probably find a screw of some sort there as well.(Not done one in a long while, but I seem to remember that screw).

Thanks Jasper, screw was hidden there. Couldnt wiggle the glass. End up removing the main window and disconnecting the window runner
to remove the quarter light.

Well done Paul, sometimes you have to remove all the fittings, Quarter lights can be tricky.
Glad to be of assistance, great to get feedback as to whether advice has been useful.
