changing to LHD headlights

I have an r reg 406 diesel estate which I want to export to France. How do I find out which headlights from other 406s will fit. I want to buy some from a scrappy but if they dont have the right year I need to know which would be ok

Just make sure you ask for D8 (or Mk1) lights.
